Tenerife is the perfect place to play golf.
In the island there are 8 beautiful golf courses, each different from the others because of the difficulty of the trail, the countryside, its flora and native vegetation. It also has become a habit for Tenerife to host important PGA tournaments such as the Tenerife Ladies Open and the Canaries Open of Spain.
Being on the tee of a field to discover and execute the first drive, pulling through the ocean, or play a decisive putt on greens that seem suspended over the sea, to live a new field every day in a week of your dreams, follow a golf clinic set in an incredible landscape and, in the evening relaxing the muscles in the thermal bath of the SPA sipping a glass of white wine are just some of the feelings that you can try with Tenerife Golf & Spa.
AMARILLA GOLF.
In the south coast of Tenerife, on the sea,
lies the Amarilla Golf & Country Club. From this field you can enjoy incredible views of the Teide volcano, and during the course of the field you will enjoy several samples of native flora.
The impressive views over the Atlantic Ocean marked the personality of this field.
The spectacular route reaches its highest point in the 5th hole, a real gem for golfers, with the sea as a path and where you need to fly across the ocean to reach the green.

BUENAVISTA GOLF.
Buenavista Golf is located in the extreme northeast of the island of Tenerife, 
between the protected area of the Cordillera del Teide and the Atlantic Ocean.
The course has 18 holes, par 72, and a length of 6019 meters. The Club House is located high in the center of the field with a panoramic view from the terrace on all holes.
The greens of 5 holes are on the cliff top and give the feeling of hitting the ball and send it to the ocean.
The central lake, between the 9th and 18th, opposite the Club House, is divided into two parts connected by waterfalls, creating a very special environment.

ABAMA GOLF.
This course is composed of more than 6271 meters of different soils, with 22 lakes interconnected by impressive waterfalls, white sand bunkers and 25,000 palm trees.
The path reaches the highest point 315 meters above sea level, and most of the holes have spectacular views of the ocean and the island of Gomera. The greens are large and have large areas of exits in each hole, making the field accessible to players with high handicap and at the same time convert it into a challenge for even the most experienced golfer.
In Abama Golf Academy, golfers can develop their confidence and their ability in the practice area of five hectares or try one of our par 3 holes for beginners: the professionals are available for golf lessons and golf clinics.

GOLF COSTA ADEJE.
The last 9 holes (Los Lagos Course) were opened later, beside the huge range and it is a slightly shorter field,
par 33, but very technical and with a spectacular view of the sea and the 6 lakes, which makes the game beautiful and enjoyable experience.
The Club House, colonial style, with large terraces where you can enjoy a splendid view and a host of modern facilities, designed to facilitate the celebration of important events and tournaments.
The store, in addition to a quality service, offers a wide variety of products of top brands.

GOLF DEL SUR.
It is noted for its difficulties, the hole 3, par 5 of 480 meters of the route Norte
: its wide fairway is bordered on the right by an impressive ravine of rock, right by large rough sand and the entrance to the green requires a shot great precision to avoid the bunkers that surround it.
Remarkable also the 2nd hole, par 3 of 193 meters of the route Sur, since the green is surrounded by a huge bunker of black sand, which gives a spectacular difficulty.
The wide fairways are surrounded by an abundance of native flora and are an oasis of 800,000 m2, along the Atlantic Ocean.
Palm trees and giant cacti encircle the area to which special attention is devoted to the preservation of its flora and fauna.

GOLF LOS PALOS.
Los Palos Golf, located in the south, is an executive 9-hole course, par 27, 
featured by abundant vegetation and water hazards (lakes and streams).
The soil of the field is virtually flat, making it suitable for beginners, players who want to improve their short game, complete families and people with limited time available, since in an hour you can complete the 9-hole course .
The complex also has a golf school with PGA Professionals, with driving range, chipping and putting green who impart lessons to individual or groups and golf clinics, organized in different languages.

GOLF LAS AMERICAS.
One of the most remarkable features of the field is his position,
centered and at the same time protected by a series of mountains makes it highly unlikely that the strong wind in this area. As for infrastructure, Golf Las Americas has 18 holes, a par 3 from 166 yards to a par 5 from 469 yards (white tees), a total of 6,039 meters.
Among other attractions, the field is characterized by large amounts of native flora and fauna of the island of Tenerife: you can find foliage plants and cacti, as well as a variety of palms, pines and other species of trees and plants.
As for fauna, Golf Las Americas has become a refuge for many migratory birds, which are in a paradisiacal place where to stop. Many birds are finally stopped in, like a bird peculiar as the ibis, the island whose environment has been impressive nests near the Club House and visiting tourists at lunchtime.
